Rincón de la Victoria has been the natural setting for several series, films and short films, some of them at international level.
Its 8 kilometres of beach and the cliffs and tunnels of El Cantal, ha ve seen how several scenes of the series ‘Toy Boy’ were filmed, whose production also moved to the Cueva del Tesoro, one of the most requested locations by the production companies. Precisely, in this cave located in the interior of the town, ‘Warrior Nun’ was also filmed, both of them being Netflix productions.
The galleries of the Victoria’s Cave and El Higuerón, where more than thirty-seven thousand year old cave paintings have been preserved, became at the end of 2022 the protagonists of a large team of professionals from National Geographic’s recording of a series of documentaries on Prehistoric caves in the province of Málaga. Thus, Rincón de la Victoria and its Palaeolithic cave paintings are part of these documentaries which are broadcasted internationally.
Part of the filming of “Cero negativo”, a short film that was screened at the Málaga Film Festival in 2022, took place in this exact location.
