Flora in El Cantal Forest Park

The park is home to around 140 tree and bush species, including 100 mastic tree, 100 brooms, 50 olive trees, 12 holm oaks and 5 carob trees. This plant diversity not only makes the landscape richer, but also is home to many local fauna species. The different information boards distributed through the park educate visitors about the flora and fauna of the place, promoting respect and nature conservation.

A Co-financed Project for the Future

The creation and maintenance of El Cantal Forest Park is part of the Thematic Objective 6  «To preserve and protect the Environment» of the project «Rehabilitation of Public Spaces and Recovery of Green Areas» belonging to the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy of Rincón de la Victoria, «EDUSI Rincón es Vida». This project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 80% within the Operation Programme framework.
